What About Sensa Quench – Does it Work?

Sensa also has a drink mix available that’s supposed to be really good (tho the reviews are very mixed).  Basically, it comes in little tubes of powder that you open and mix one packet into a bottle of water – then after shaking it up, you drink it.

There are a lot of diet drink mixes out there – what makes Sensa Quench so special (or is not special at all)?

Sensa Quench Ingredients

These Sensa drink mix packets come in many flavors and have various vitamins in them as well as Green Tea.  The vitamins include Vitamin A, C, D, B6, and B12.

What Does Sensa Quench Do?

Sensa Quench is a powder that you add to a bottle of water, shake it well, and then drink it.  It is supposed to boost energy, control your appetite and increase your metabolism.  They say it is “clinically proven to help you feel energized and increase metabolism”.

You are supposed to drink 2 of these per day.

Sensa Quench Flavors

Quench comes is available in the following flavors:

  • Orange Crush
  • Pink Grapefruit
  • Tropical Breeze

Does Quench Really Work?

As I said earlier, the feedback from those using these Quench packets is really mixed.  That makes it hard to say whether it really works or not.

Those that like it and claim it works say that it does give a nice boost of energy without getting that jittery feeling that coffee/caffeine can cause.  They also say that it does a decent job of helping to control their appetite and cravings during the day.

Other reviews say it really does nothing for them at all.  They say that the only reason this drink mix might make you feel full is because you just drank a ton of water.

Drinking water is FAR from a “new concept” when it comes to losing weight.

How does it taste?  This runner claims she likes the taste of this Sensa drink mix – others don’t

The part I really like about it is the vitamins in it.  B vitamins are always good for energy and they help me much better than coffee does (and I’m a big coffee fan…lol!).

So, does it really work to help lose weight?  Not really sure about that part.  But does it work to help boost energy and keep me from drinking OTHER things that aren’t so good for me?

Yep, sure does.

Sensa For Men – The Reviews are In

Well, the reviews of Sensa for Men are all over the place.  They go from the joyful, “It Works!!” to the disappointing review of “It made me sick.”

Now, I’m not a doctor, but in my humble, non-medical opinion – anything that messes with your appetite can possibly make you feel sick, don’t you think?

But, I’m not a man, and I’ve never taken Sensa For Men.

Customer Sensa Reviews: Sensa Weight-Loss Program

I did Sensa for two months by this point and have yet to find anything wrong with it and plenty of things right with it. I am one of those “eat even after you’re full” people and Sensa really helped with that.

It doesn’t change the taste of your food. It triggers your brain response telling you’re full sooner than you actually are. So it helps with portion control. I recommend using this with a healthy diet and at least some exercise. With these recommendations, I lost…read this review here

Sensa Chews – Do They Work?

sensa chewsThe newest addition in the Sensa weight loss products are the Sensa Chews.  These are basically flavored bite-sized chews that you eat when you feel the need to snack in-between meals.

Yep, they are appetite suppressants…well, Sensa calls them Appetite Control Chews  😉

I went wandering around the internet to see what I could find out about these.  Below are the questions I had as well as the answers I found.

Sensa Chews Flavors

They come in fruit flavors as well as in Chocolate fudge flavor.  Chocolate appears to be the favorite among consumers which I can totally understand – if I am in a “gotta snack” mode, no little piece of fruit anything is gonna get me past it.  Chocolate would satisfy my sweet tooth and hopefully, let me move past that moment without actually eating anything sweet and full of calories.

People say that the chocolate Sensa chews taste very similar to a little Tootsie Roll. Not as sweet…and not as much like candy, but close enough to be tolerable AND not be TOO good and cause you want to eat the whole bag.

What’s IN Sensa Chews?

Basically, Sensa Chews are flavor, fiber, and anti-oxidants.  They are sugar-free and are designed to make you feel full (hence, all the fiber in them).

Here is a picture of the back of a Sensa Chews package that shows all the ingredients.

Just click the picture to see it up close to make it easier to read.

sensa chews ingredients

How To Use Sensa Chews

When you feel the urge to snack between meals, you are supposed to chew one or 2 of these flavored chews.

But here’s the REALLY important part – you MUST drink a good bit of water with them.  One reason is because the water is what expands the fiber to make you feel full, but the other reason is… get this – a CHOKING HAZARD!

Sensa Chews WARNING

Yes, there is a choking hazard warning right on the package:

“Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention.”

OMG!

Here it is, right at the bottom of the back of the package (click picture to see close up):

sensa chews choking warning

That, right there, freaks me out a little bit!  If you don’t chew it really well and wash it down with a LOT of water, the chews will expand in your throat…. ugh!

Also makes me think there needs to be a “keep out of reach of children” on this as well.  They LOOK like candy so I would think kids could hurt themselves with these, don’t you?

Anyway – that part is really important – be sure to drink lots of water with them.

How Do Sensa Chews Work?

As I mentioned above, there is a lot of fiber in these weight loss chews, so when you eat them and then drink water, the fiber expands in your stomach and gives you that feeling of being full.

Do Sensa Chews Work?

From all the reviews and user feedback I’ve read about these chews, yeah, they seem to do the trick to help people past the urge to snack and past that “gotta have something bad for me” moments that happen throughout the day.

Keep in mind that these chews are only PART of a weight loss plan and are not a complete solution to weight loss.

Side Effects of Sensa Chews

The main possible side effect would be due to all the fiber in them.  If you have issues taking fiber, it’s very possible you will have those same side effects with Sensa Chews.

Also, there are warnings for those with nut and/or soy allergies so be sure to read the package before taking.

Sensa Chews – Reviews

Here are little snippets of reviews and consumer feedback I have found:

“OVERALL: I believe these work incredibly well as bite-sized appetite-controlling goodies. The taste isn’t great, but that’s GOOD! You don’t want to eat these like their candy, they’re more for hunger emergencies. Personally I wouldn’t pay the current price, but hey, if you’re dedicated to losing weight, I would spring for a bag to see if they work. It may be worth it!” read this full review here

———————-

“PROS

– I find that they really do satisfy the 10 am and 3 pm hunger pangs
– Low calorie (15/chew)

CONS

– I really didn’t enjoy this taste so much. It’s a bit chalky and the chocolate flavor is very different, not what you’d think when you read “chocolate fudge.”” read this full review here

—————————

“Do they Work?
I get the three o’clock munchies at work, so I’ve been using these instead of hitting the snack machines downstairs. At only 15 calories and .5 grams of fat and sugar-free, these are a better snack option. I find them very filling with no (ahem) unpleasant bodily side effects.” read this full review here

Complaints about Sensa Chews

Bottom line, the biggest complaints seem to be a) the price and b) the taste (not sure why people think weight loss supplements should taste AWESOME and like candy, but hey, it’s their opinion, right?)

Read all consumer reviews I read here

Will *I* use these Sensa Chews?

Bottom line for me – No, I won’t be using any Sensa products. I am going to stick with this weight loss supplement that Dr Oz recommends AND he has tested extensively.

I am still looking for more information to decide if Sensa really works. If anyone has any personal feedback, please let me know.

Sensa Complaints

The biggest overall complaint I find online about Sensa has to do with the so-called “free trial” from their official website.

Here is what one Sensa consumer had to say:

SENSA charged me 9.95 shipping on 11-21-12and never told me i had to pay 89.95 for it if i did not return it.I was never told about this.

via PissedConsumer.com.

While I do feel bad for those that happens to, the terms and conditions that you have to agree to BEFORE ordering your “free trial” state very clearly that you have 30 days to try Sensa, if you don’t like it, you have to send it back or else you will be charged $89.95.

If I was going to buy Sensa at this time, I would NOT go thru their official website and get their “free” trial.

I don’t like any type of “auto billing” going on on my credit cards!

I would just go here to Amazon and order – get what I need and reorder what I want, WHEN I want it.

Plus, the price is better there too.

Personal Sensa Review – Did It Work?

Great and HONEST video from Sara who once mentioned on her site that she was trying Sensa. Her readers blew her up with questions about Sensa and really wanted to know if it worked for her or not and her whole personal experience with the sprinkles.

Here is her personal story about using Sensa.

This is where Sara got her Sensa so cheap and without autoship or any of that BS billing stuff.

Thanks, Sara!

Dr Oz Says Sensa is Ok? Really?!?!

This is a REALLY helpful video from a guy named Chef Guiliano regarding his feelings for how WRONG Dr Oz was for saying the Sensa is ok to use for weight loss – and his reasons WHY he thinks Dr Oz was wrong.

Good stuff! He flat out says that Sensa is a scam and it does NOT work.

And a big YUCK about the rats and tumors! Gross!

This guy makes some good points about GMO foods and Sensa.

Sensa Weight Loss Results – Week 8

This woman has been kickin’ it with Sensa for 2 months and she really tells it like it is. In fact, she is down right honest that she did NOT start losing weight right away.

Also, something important she mentioned is that if you have problems with lactose (ie, lactose intolerant), that you may have some issues with Sensa (make you gassy and other yucky lactose intolerance issues).

Down in her comments someone said everyone says the first month you don’t lose any weight.

I don’t know about you, but what kind of weight loss plan results in NO weight loss for the first month? Heck, even casual diet plans have you losing at least water weight the first week.

So, I’m still undecided as to whether Sensa really works or not.
